Here i am having a problem which is new.I have to format drive e in windows vista.When i click format it says that unable to format.Quit all disk utilities and the programs using it and then click format.I am unable to find which programs are running this drive.Help.

I believe that there are probably applicationsa running that might have been installed on that drive. Check all the processes and eliminate any of them that connect to the program installed on the drive in question. Next, try to reformat the drive again. It should be successful now. Let us know the results as soon as possible. :)

What exactly does it say on the information on that drive Denil?

 

This may well be a Recovery Partition that you are trying to delete.

If you're sure that's the drive you want to format, then you should be able to do so by using Safe Mode. To access safe Mode, keep tapping F8 as soon as you turn on the computer and a boot menu will appear. Use the arrow keys to select mode and press Enter.
