These tools, when executed from a Command Prompt, tell you what's open: net session net file handle.exe (http://www.sysinternals.com) oh.exe (Windows Resource Kit) Try deleting the locked files while in Safe Mode.

Press DEL + ALT + CTRL to bring up the Task manager and kill the running process for this program if it in the TSKMng then try the deletion, does it help?. Boot into Safe Mode and try the deletion. You can download this tool and make the deletion when you pin point the File. AutoRuns for Windows v8.71 By Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/autoruns.mspx?wt.svl=whatsnew Also this tool: http://www.ccleaner.com Please read the help file before using the above tool for better result.
