Guest ToolJob Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Im not a Windows 2004 expert and need some basic help. We got a client and I have already setup Terminal Services for them and I can connect. But, I have a certain user when they login to TS from Remote Desktop I only want to display certain things on the desktop (like their home folder, quickbooks program, etc). I dont want them to be able to view the C: drive or access other programs. How would I setup this us? Im guessing security policies? If so, where can I can some noob how-to how to setup up these policies? Thanks TJ
Guest Helge Klein Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Re: How to restrict the objects on desktop for Remote Desktop users??? Me neither. But I have some tips on Server 2003 ;-) I recommend using this document from Microsoft as a starting point: Locking Down Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Sessions http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/lockdown.mspx I hope this helps.
