Im not a Windows 2004 expert and need some basic help.

We got a client and I have already setup Terminal Services for them and I

can connect.

But, I have a certain user when they login to TS from Remote Desktop I only

want to display certain things on the desktop (like their home folder,

quickbooks program, etc). I dont want them to be able to view the C: drive

or access other programs.

How would I setup this us? Im guessing security policies? If so, where can

I can some noob how-to how to setup up these policies?

Thanks

Me neither. But I have some tips on Server 2003 ;-)

I recommend using this document from Microsoft as a starting point:

Locking Down Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Sessions

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/lockdown.mspx

I hope this helps.

Hi,

Probably this tool can help you :

http://www.mqtechnologies.com/Products/RAC20/

Usually on Terminal Server we deploy (publish) applications to users (like

Citrix)

and not allow them to access to server console
