Guest Angel Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Re: What is "PCSecurityShield"? Hi Brian and everyone, I came to this Newsgroup for help and advice. I got instead of advice smutty remarks and insulted by someone who does not know any better than call it humor. No humor in that type of answer. That was the reason I responded as I did. I am heartily sorry about getting carried away. Please forgive me. I post because I need help. Some have left and try to muddle through the problem on their own because of some insults and names thrown at them. Yes, I have chilled out. I have been seriously thinking it over. I think that after this I will muddle through a problem with my computer like others have. From now on, I will read the posts, maybe I can get some useful information that way. I will not make any comments about these kinds of remarks, no matter what I think. Thank you and good bye. Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Re: What is "PCSecurityShield"? These groups are almost totally unmanaged. Anyone can post damned near anything. If you can't abide a certain person, highlight one of their posts and then go to Message menu>Block Sender. If you see some innocent soul getting slammed, or being given bad advice, post a reply to the person and suggest that they, too, ignore the jerk. If you have an answer, that's even better. But nothing you do is going to convince the a**holes to stop what they're doing. They are being deliberately rude and you aren't likely to change their attitude. Guest Brian A. Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Re: What is "PCSecurityShield"? And help and advice you got, along with some ill mannered words. Those that respond in such a manner have no more in mind than to rile up others, mission accomplished against you. Simply don't respond to any of their posts that are negative and be on your way, mission accomplished against them. If you have an issue with your PC, post it and you will receive help as always. Just keep in mind there will always be someone to come along sooner or later without the purpose to help out. Read the response, chuckle at their ignorance, don't respond and move on to another response. Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Re: What is "PCSecurityShield"? Well, any abuse has to be pretty blatant and especially problematic. Not being able to get to the groups isn't one of them. Lots of people have been having problems recently. Just be patient. -- Gary S.
