Guest JH Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot why from my new server I cannot get any email notifications I have setup for Custom Filters under R2's Print Management. When I go to the filter and select Test, I never receive the email. This server is part of the domain and all preferences are ccorrect. I installed the Print Management on my desktop and have it running in MMC. If I setup a custom fiter within it and select Test, the email comes through fine. I thought maybe that the server had to have a mapi profile installed so I did that but no luck still. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks
Guest Richard Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 RE: Print Management Email Notification Problem 2003 Server SP2 I'm also experiecing the same exact problem. Print Management on the server won't send notifications, but there is no problem sending them via XP. No error logs are popping up and our Exchange server isn't reporting anything strange. The only thought I had was that McAfee VirusScan Enterprise was blocking it (which it was at first), but I've added "mmc.exe" to the exclusions list. Other services on the same server have no trouble sending alerts via SMTP. I would love to find a solution for this.
