Hi

Can you boot into safe mode?

To boot into safe mode do this:

When the pc starts up tap F8 and you will see a menu with boot options, choose safe mode.

If its a pre built PC and they sent you recovery disks with the order then they (may give you more disks - providing that you have the origianl key sticker on the PC as you will need to use that)

failing that if there is a recovery partition on the HDD use that.

If you have none of the above - you need to buy an Operating System

I believe you will have to buy a new Windows XP CD if you don't have one currently. Thats because it will not only come in handy in your present condition but also on many future occasions. If you already have a disk, then can you please try repairing the Boot Sector and the Master Boot Record. :)

Repair and Restore Master Boot Record (MBR)

Let us know if it works or not. Good Luck. :)
