SP2 error

I have a server that originally was Windows 2003 SBS Standard. Then we needed

terminal services capability so through MS we got an upgrade/migration pack

and moved to Windows 2003 Standard and Exchange 2003 Standard. I am trying to

install SP2 now and am getting a cryptograph error that the certificate could

not be verified or update.inf could not be verified. I have tryed all the

posts on microsoft including:

 

reregistering all update DLL's

renameinf CATROOT2 and letting windows rebuild it

Deleting the Software Distribution folder contents

rebooting

 

Sometimes it gets farther but in the end I still get the error.
