Guest lyn4fres Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 I have a VPN Connection (PPTP). I run my RDP connection through that. XP Pro cannot connect to windows 2003 server. Windows Vista has no issues. XP Pro can connect when on LAN with Server. Upgraded RDP clients on affected computers without any luck. Nothing shows on the error logs of the server. Error/Response is "This computer can't connect to the remote computer."
Guest lyn4fres Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 RE: XP Pro connecting to Windows 2003 Server Never Mind. As I typed this post, it became clear to me the issue was in the VPN tunnel. Rather than troubleshoot that, I just opened the RDP port. All is fine now. Thanks anyway "lyn4fres" wrote: > I have a VPN Connection (PPTP). I run my RDP connection through that.
