Guest Perry Mason Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 ok, for some bizarre reason, when a put a disc in the drive, it freezes my system for a few moments, then it will no longer see the drive in explorer or device manager. remove the disc and the system will see the drive again. WTF! I've checked the cables and they're fine. any thoughts would be seriously appreciated! WinXP SP2 2.5ghz cpu, 1gig ram. perry
