Guest Martin C Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 A while ago, I obtained a copy of Paragon's Hard Drive Manager V6.01.847 which came as a full (obviously not the latest) program on a PC cover magazine DVD. I was going to use it to resize a couple of my partitions on a single disc to allocate more space to one of the partitions. The OS is on the C drive; Data on the E drive; Apps and Games on the F drive. (D is the DVD/RW) I wanted to shrink E and use the extra space for F (which is now nearly full). However, I have set up 'My Documents' to go onto the E drive. As a result, when I try to resize E, I get the complaint that E volume is in use. Logging out of my account and going back into Administrator via Safe Mode (I am using XP Home), I thought would cure this problem as the Admin is still on the C drive. I still get the error, however. Has anyone else managed to get round this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated. Martin
