Denil Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 (edited) I have been playing Hitman - Blood Money for some time and am currently in the stage 'You Better Watch Out...'. The game initially ran well without any problems but now when I press 'G' to drop things down, the game closes and the Computer displays an error message that says 'Bloodmoney.exe has stopped working'. Please help. Edited June 22, 2008 by Goku Quote

Denil Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 Yes i run windows vista. And the game was running successfully before but just in this stage and that to after some trials. Quote
Goku Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 That is exactly what Eidos says, Denil. They cannot assure you that you won't have any problems in the game regardless of what stage you are in. The best you can do is to run it as an Administrator or downgrade to XP. See if running as Administrator helps the problem or not. Good Luck. :) -- Goku Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Denil This is a quote from the link that Randy gave you. This title is not supported to be ran on Windows Vista as it was released prior to Windows Vista being released and as a result the game was not tested on this Operating system. This is not to say that the game will not launch succesfully under this operating system but rather that we can not offer any support to help get the game to be ran. Even if the game does launch successfully, there is still a good chance that there will be further problems encountered whilst playing the game, again these issue cannot be supported unless the game is being ran in a supported operating system. RandyL Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Hi Denil; Do you want to set up a dual boot system with XP and Vista? Will your Vista machine support XP? There may not be drivers for it? Do you have a retail XP CD? Either way as this is unrelated issue you should start a new thread in Vista as that is your current OS. Quote We are all members helping other members. However, he installed XP on a second partition and is now unable to boot into Vista. As Vista doesn't use Boot.ini, I am out of ideas on what to do to get in Vista. Any ideas? :) -- Goku Quote
Dalo Harkin Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Try running the game in the XP compatibility mode - right click the desktop icon and right click on it and then select properties there are some compatability option on there. Goku Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 No, it does not work. Anyways, he has messed up his condition to something much more serious, so any more advice on that? -- Goku Quote
Dalo Harkin Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Forget doing a dual boot - it's far easier to just install XP to another HDD and then just change the boot order in the BIOS. The reason I say this is that unless you know what you are doing, you can easily mess it all up. Goku Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 He did mess up Dave. Anyways, now that the purpose of the thread is served, please do not post until there is an update for the problem of the original poster. Thank you. :) -- Goku Quote
