Hi, i have recently invested into building a pc, despite the fact that i don't really know how to do it (Quite unrecommended i know)

But the main problem i think is that i don't know if the Graphics card is compatible with the motherboard, i have limited Experience and i have checked that both the motherboard and Graphics card are PCI_E

Yet it doesn't seem to have a "snug" fit.

And i actually had to use a bit of force to get it in!

Here are the links to the Motherboard and Graphics card:

dabs.com - Asustek S775 GeForce 680i ATX GLAN (P5N32-E-SLI)

And Graphics card:

dabs.com - Dabs Value NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-E DVI (I-7600GS-H4F3)

If you don't want to Follow the link, The graphics card is a (NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-E DVI)

And the Motherboard is an Asustek P5N32-E-SLI

Thanks and if you have any questions about my question (lol)

Please email me on: EDIT: Email address removed for Security reasons.

Also may i add that the pc isn't working =[

And that this is my old pc ^^

Thanks alot ;)

Louis

They are compatible - have you installed the Graphics card in the slot nearest the CPU as thats the right one.

you need to push the little clip at the end of the socket on the motherboard for it to go in easier. And make sure that the back end (DVI sockets) of the graphics card goes through the back of the case properly.

Its hard to explain but if its in properly the clip I was talking about would 'click' when it locks and the DVI sockets at the back would be centered on the back of the case slot.
