How do I reset/repair a Data Junction?

I have a software that will not install properly. The error in the install log for the software is "The Common Application Data junction on this PC does not point to ProgramData. Attempting to give user write access to C:\ProgramData\Application Data\KMC Controls\KMC Connect". Can someone please help on fixing the junction?The software manufacture says it is a Windows issueThank you
