Guest Don Cooper Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 I was reading the paperwork on the TS server and was curious about a few things. The TS invoice showed the Microsoft part number as R19-00846, however the "Microsoft Open License Order Confirmation" that came with it showed MS part no. as R19-00145. 5 copies, License prg -Open. Issue date of this license agreement 11-06, Last Date for repeat orders/End of Maint Coverage 11-08. Does this mean the licenses will expire on 11-08 and have to be renewed? Product Description: Windows Terminal SVR CAL Win English OPL NL User CAL When we increase the number of users from 5 to 10 can we just buy the R19-00145 ? thanks
Guest Aruna Somendra [MSFT] Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Re: newbie TS license ? Hi Dan, The end date that you see is for the SA (maintenance) and not for the life of the CAL. For increasing the number of CALs you can use the number listed in your paper agreement.
