GilesH Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I did a full system scan using Norton anti virus. Discovered a trojan hourse which was quarantined then I deleted it. This is the only possible thing I can think of that has caused my Fuji Siemans Scaleo P PC to do the following: Windows wont start up. It goes so far then prompts me for safe mode, start as normal and start from last time windows worked ok. I have tried them all and they all go through the windows logo then give a blank screen. I can't find my recovery disk. Please help me - If possible I dont want to loose some of my pictures etc Quote

RandyL Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 Hi Giles; You said you can't find the Recovery CD but your model should also have shipped with a Drivers & Utilities CD/DVD. According to your manual this will sometimes Restore Windows. Please wait for advice on repairing your system since you don't want to lose your files. I'm just throwing this out there as a method of last resort. Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. Seth Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 When you first start the computer, there will be a display with a black background and white letters. Do you see an option at that point to press (a certain key) to enter the recover console? If not, we can provide you with a means to download the recovery console so you can run hard drive error checking and repair. Quote Need help with your computer problems?
