Guest Andre De Clercq Posted August 5, 2007 Posted August 5, 2007 Since I use hibernation on my XPSP2 PC's, one of them (HP media center PC) reboots after some time without any apparent reason. Is there any setting to overcome this behaviour? Thanks for any advise.

What causes you to believe hibernation has anything to do with your rebooting? -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

Look in the System logs for error messages to see what's crashing. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427 HTH -pk
Guest Andre De Clercq Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Re: Hibernation and unwanted reboot. I feel sorry, because I now see that I incorrectly phrased my problem. The problem is that my computer spontaniously boots up after some time (>15min) I engaged hibernation.
