Guest Jess1587 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I cant get my Print Screen button to copy things anymore. I hit the button and go to Paint like I've done a million times before in the past 4 or so years, but now when I hit Ctrl-V..nothing comes up. I can right click to get the menu bar, but the Paste choice cant be highlighted. Anybody know what's going on?

Guest retread Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 RE: Help with Print Screen button The clipboard viewer is in Windows\system32 folder. I recommend putting a copy of it in your start folder... I put mine under "Accessories". The file name is clipbrd.exe I believe. The easy way is to open C:\documents & settings\All users and choosing "Start Menu". Right click in an open space and choose "create shortcut"... this will open the shortcut wizard. You can then browse to the clipbrd.exe file in the system32 folder, choose it and walla! your done! -- retread: Just another senior getting re-capped "Jess1587" wrote: > I cant get my Print Screen button to copy things anymore. A few ideas I found with a Google Groups Search: - Right-click the Start button and select Properties. Click Customize, Advanced tab, and scroll through the list of options. Be sure that the "Enable dragging dropping" option is enabled. - Look for malware on the machine. - Click Start button, Run command and type in the text box: Regsvr32 /i ole32.dll and click [OK] or Hit [Enter] on your keyboard. Regsvr32 /i shell32.dll and click [OK] or Hit [Enter] on your keyboard. If the above doesn't help read this and there is a Hot Fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249319/ (As suggested by Nass) -- Joe =o)

Run Tasklist from a command prompt window and post the content of window here.
