Printer won't print out. Window comes up wanting to save document. What do I do.

I'm trying to print out an e-mail on my printer and a window comes up asking where to save as. The e-mail has already been saved to documents. How do I get it to print a paper copy from my printer?I have windows 11, edge, on HP laptop.Thanks for your help.
