Folder View.

Hi.

 

I would like to customize Xp so that CERTAIN folders have certain view. For

example, data files are listed in "Detail", videos and images are displayed

in "Thumbnail" view etc.

 

I understand that I can "Apply to all folders", however I don't see the

reality of displaying Data Files in Thumbnail view.

 

I thought I had this configured, but for some reason every folder is

displayed "apparently" in random format and I can't seem to get "Individual

Folders" to display the way I'd like.

 

Am I missing something? Ok, dumb question, otherwise I wouldn't be posting.

Re: Folder View.

 

By default the system will remember 400 individual folders settings

before SP2 and 5000 after. If you want more see left column line 2 at

Kelly's site.
