My Windows (XP Pro) system plays the darn Windows "tada" every time I log

on. I have my profile set to no sound but I can't find a way to turn this

irritation off. Anyone know the magical key?

Thanks,

Re: Sound at Logon

Hello,

Control panel > sound, speech and audio devices>Change the sound scheme and select "Start Windows"

from the scroll list and under 'sounds' choose 'none'.
