I do not want these programs anymore on my C drive? Have you checked that they have no way of uninstalling themselves? In their start menu entries, in the program files folders, etc? Guest Ron Badour Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Re: REMOVE PROGRAMS Yes providing they do not have an uninstall feature as described by Shenan. Also, some folders might contain remnants of programs previously uninstalled and can be deleted. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "rich" <rich@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B9EDCAE1-9957-4019-BE37-5799C37CBAF8@microsoft.com... > Can I delete programs in the program folder that is not listed in the > Add/Remove. Guest Gerry Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Re: REMOVE PROGRAMS Rich I agree with the comments by Shenan and Ron. Once removed you may still find references in a Start-Up location to them. These can be removed using Autoruns. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx -- Hope this helps.
