Guest jason Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I've done a lot of remote desktop on my pc and the list of workstations in the drop down list is growing. How do you go about deleting names from the drop down list that are no longer required?

Gary gave you a specific answer. The general answer is: Create an easily identifiable entry, then search the registry for this entry. In many cases it is then obvious how you can delete it from your list.
Guest jason Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Re: Remote Desktop Thank you. I'm surprised that the only way to remove the listings is through the registry. Is there any way to have remote desktop all together not remember any of the IP addresses and/or names of workstations that we are logging into...perhaps a global setting. "Gary S. Guest jason Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Re: Remote Desktop That's to bad. If you're at an internet cafe with restricted access, you may not have access to the registry to remove your remote desktop IP address. Just curious, what is MRU? "Gary S.
