Pictures not visible & cant get pics from PC

Not sure if this is a Vista thing but when i try and upload pics from hotmail mainly but on other sites when you select the folder it keeps saying no pictures in the file !!! when clearly there is .

 

Now recently after succesfully transferring pics from camera to pc it will now not recognise it

 

I plug the usb cable in then switch on camera select pc you here the little noise te pc makes as if bringing something up but nothing !! i have tried all usb points and its all the same

 

All usb points have been used with other items and work fine

 

So is this a vista problem ? come to think of it my friend has same issue ith it saying no pics in file

 

any help would be appreciated as i am tearing my hair out trying to get pics to pc :(

When you transferred the pics from the camera to the PC - what folder on the PC did you transfer them to?

When I was successful the pics went to either my documents or the pictures folder .. when trying to uplaod when florwarding it does not even recognise the sample pics on the laptop .. I was told it is vista issue bt I would of thought a fix would be avialable by now ?

When you uploaded the pic from the camera, you should have noticed what folder they were being uploaded to. Please try again and take note of which folder on the PC they are being uploaded to.

it is not allowing me .. i plug USB cable in to laptop then camera switch camera on asks me to select either printer or pc .. select pc get a little ding dong on pc you see a brief flash as if box opening then nothing .i used to get the option to view files or the official camera programme for viewing pics and i would move the pics myself to documents.. nothing is uploaded from camera now .. it is just blank .. Have a look at here. You may need to change your defaults. If you scroll way down that list you may see your camera under Devices.

I I have already done that changed the options to differant outcomes and still each time I can not get anything on screen to view files or anything else .. it is becoming so annoying now as it used to work now all i get is that sound to tell em its connected and registered but then nothing :(

Enable Autorun

 

Let us start by try enabling the Autorun first. Please download the following archive and extract the file within. Double-click on the extracted file and answer Yes to the prompt. Restart the computer and plug in your camera. See if you get the prompt or not.

 

Also, if the above doesn't work, then you please reinstall the drivers for your camera and see if it helps your problem or not. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck. :)

When the browser looks for files and it opens a windows to search, there is a bar at the bottom make sure it says 'all types'

I know this is sketchy but I cannot add pics from my current location

You have installed the camera software yes?
