COM port (in use)

The modem advanced settings shows a list of ports as "(in use)". But nothing

is using this ports. Is it possible to reserve ports? How can i free a port.

I a port actually "(in use)" in order to assign it to another driver, which

does not allow to use other ports as the specific one?
