leeajohnson Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Hi I am trying to play video clips on wmp but they are really dark! I have just updated wmp to version 11 but the problem is still there any ideas how to sort ikt out? cheers Quote
Dalo Harkin Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Is the desktop ok or is that dark too? I have never seen colour and brightness options on WMP and therefore think it may be down to something else. Dalo Harkin Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 does everyting seem dimmer - have you tried a DVD and seen if thats the same - if it is then WMP is at fault and if not then there may be a problem with the files you are trying to play Quote Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)Asus P5K premium black pearl4GB OCZ Reaper 8500260GTX Join Free PC Help - Register here Donations are welcome - here PC Build We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. After all, no one knows everything and you may have the answer that someone needs.
Goku Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Exactly as Dalo says, Lee. Try playing the DVD with some other player. If the video still plays dark, then its either your monitor configuration or a bad DVD. If it is a Windows Media Player specific problem, then the following article might help you out. Playing Video in Windows Media Player Let us know if it helps or not. Good Luck. :) -- Goku Quote
