Guest justmark Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I'm getting an ESENT 215 error in my Application log at the same time I'm getting a DhcpServer 1010 error in my System log (both posted below). I've been looking for hours for the answer to this, but can't find anything. The server's Win 2003 SP2 and runs BackupExec 11D (did the same thing with 10D). It only backs up some user files and not an Exchange server. This is a DC at a remote location. Any ideas as to where I can look for a solution? Thanks! Guest justmark Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 RE: ESENT and DhcpServer errors in tandem Update on this situation: Based on some other posts I've read elsewhere, I shut down the DHCP Server service, renamed the database, then restarted to recreate it. I reconfigured my scope and settings and all went well. That was yesterday afternoon. Last night another pair of tandem errors were recorded in my event logs. So... I'm still at the same point. Anyway, I've spent a lot of time researching this and just can't find anything that indicates what the problem is or how to fix it. Lots of stuff relating to Exchange, but this server doesn't have Exchange and doesn't back it up. Any ideas? Thanks! Mark
