Last windows 11 update resulted in my computer not booting up to windows due to critical process died error

Since the last windows 11 update, my computer will not boot up to windows (critical process died-stopcode) and mainly goes to the bios screen where the drive that has the windows OS on it no longer shows up (the drive is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME M.2 SSD which is on the AUSUS TUF motherboard) - please help
