Reformat without onedrive installation

If I reformat my computer can I choose the option of not installing one drive? I dont want to go thru the hassle of reformatting if I have to install it anyway since the whole reason for reformatting is to get rid of one drive((yes i've tried all the suggestions I could find to get rid of it and nothing works,its still there driving me bonkers). I have windows 10 home edition. thanks
