How to determine, among group, which printer has best quality when there is only one printer driver?

My work place has multiple printers (of different model) dispersed in large office but only one printer driver.How to determine which available printer to use for best quality?For example, do I have to pericdically check model number of each?go to manufacture website to find capabilitywalk far away to the best printer every time?
