Restore point cannot be configured or created after C drive recovery

An application issue caused by either bad information or a corruption in the registry led me to recover the C drive of my PC from a 3 week old backup. The recovery was successful and the application issue was resolved.However, checking the restore point configuration, it was set at 0% usage and I could not configure a usage space or create one: each time I tried, a got the same error message by clicking either OK or apply buttons in the related advanced system setting page. ScreenshotNote in the drive list there seems to be 2 entries for C, both shown as on, the current space allocation is 0
