I transcribe research interviews. This requires frequent pausing, rewinding, and playing. This process runs smoothly until eventually windows media player (also legacy version) or Express Scribe simply stop playing the audio for the same reason. This has occured on my Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Asus Zenbook 14, both running Windows 11. Windows media player says that it does not have the codec to play the file (but it obviously does until a random point). Express Scribe throws up a different, but related, error message at the same time. It is possible to resolve this through the online troubl
