Windows 11 desktop cannot find any other networks than Wi-Fi hotspot shared from phone

Yes the title is true. I booted up my desktop and I could not see any of the neighborhood networks, including my own. I have a custom desktop with an intel® Dual band Wireless-AC 8260 adapter which has always worked up until now. The hotspot from my phone is the only network available when searching from my desktop, however my work laptop still sees all the normal nearby networks.How is this even possible, I am baffled at the insanity of windows bugs at this point.
