Metered Network blocks local LAN traffic. The LAN isn't metered, only the WAN. How to exclude local traffic from metering?

We have (5) computers on LAN, needing to share data, print, and send workstation backups to a NAS.This LAN has a router using 5G Cellular Hotspot as WAN connection.We've told Windows it's a metered network to avoid downloading Windows Updates and the like.Problem is our Microsoft Access database keeps warning us it contains Network Links (they are local).Our Veeam agent for Windows backup program refuses to work because "network is Metered", but obviously the LAN is not Metered, only the Internet.Surely there is a way to tell Windows that "Metered Network" doesn't apply to the local subnet of
