Microsoft has locked my account and won't send a code to my phone. How else do I unlock it if I can't sign in?

I have an email account that Microsoft keeps locking and I don't know why. I'm using it for applying for jobs and it locked after I replied to someone to confirm an interview attendance. I was able to unlock my account a couple of times but on a third it's refusing to accept my phone number and there's no way for me to unlock the account now. I have a video interview on Teams today and since this affects the whole of Microsoft Office I can't attend. How else can I unlock my account and make sure Microsoft don't wrongly lock it again?
