How do I find my alternate (alias?) email address?

Microsoft Account has always been a confusing pain. It is doing it to me again. My email address assigned to the account is fine. The phone number assigned to the account is fine. But the alternate email that apparently it uses for 2FA can'y be found. I am logged in to my account I looked everywhere. I search and tried a few articles. I can't find it. How do I find this email and why isn't the account email address good enough for 2FA?next issue because I'm always so confused with what is what relating to this account I' pretty sure I created one or two more accounts.
