Guest LoriP Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 I have scheduled task that executes a batch file and it runs without any errors. The first line of the file is "taskkill gtviewer.exe /f," then some file copies and moves happen, and the last line should open GTVIEIWER.EXE in maximized mode. I can run the batch file by itself without any problems. I can also open a command prompt as a different user and run the batch file successfully. When the scheduled task runs as the user who is logged on it completes successfully, BUT when the scheduled task runs as a different user than who is logged on to the PC, the program never fully opens, although if you look at processes in Task Manager it shows it is running. I have Windows XP Tablet Edition with SP2. I have not found this problem documented anywhere and would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
