Guest Deb Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Hi! Could someone please help. I have been able to recover from many incidents but am stuck on this one. The computer will not boot into Windows but will allow me to start in safe mode. I have already restored to a previous date. No luck. Putting in the Windows disc didn't help either. Presumeably my problem is a driver but how do I find out which one. I haven't installed any new programs or hardware for a few weeks. Cheers Deb

Guest Rey Santos Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 RE: Windows XP Startup Instead of safemode try selecting the other option "Enable VGA.." If Windows boot, go to the Display properties in the control panel and try to change your settings. Yesterday mine was set at 640x480, 16 colors and 4 bit and windows won't boot normal. I don't know why? -- Rey "Deb" wrote: > Hi! > > Could someone please help. I have been able to recover from many incidents > but am stuck on this one.
