problem with msicuu2.exe

Just purchased an HP DV6405 laptop with Vista Home Premium and have

entered software removal hell. Trying to remove pre-installed Vongo.

Lot's of 'net traffic about it, with suggestions to use the Windows

Installation Cleanup Utility, pointing to msicuu2.exe. Downloaded it

and when I try to execute it I get "permission denied" - "Microsoft

VBScript runtime error."

What's up with that?

Re: problem with msicuu2.exe

Ensure that you're running it as an Administrator. Right click the EXE file

and select Run as Administrator. Then give it the username and password of

a user with full Administrator privileges. Also, be sure that this

application is designed for Vista. Otherwise, you could wind up doing more

harm than good.
