My favorite sport to watch is professional bull riding. :o

I also like to watch boxing and football.

I like to play volleyball, and if they can be considered sports, fishing and target shooting (both guns and bows); though I've never competed in the last two.

I don't watch much Sport,anymore as it's all about Egos,and big money.

Sport is so full of Drugs, and teams taking dives, and the like,I have lost interest.:)

Confidence, is the feeling I get, moments before I stuff something up.

I don't watch much sport too. Perhaps, a Cricket, Carrom, Pool or Tennis championship might interest me. For playing, its just Cricket and Football. If you count messing with the computer a sport, then include that in the list too!

Billiards is basically the American version of our pool -

ours are red/yellow or blue/yellow (7 of each)

and the americans is spots and stripes. (9 ball is a different variation or spots and stripes)

thats my understanding and I hope I am right as I play both :o

English billiards

Main article: English billiards

Dating to approximately 1800, English billiards is a hybrid of carom and pocket billiards played on a 6-foot (1.8 m) by 12-foot (3.7 m) table. Like most carom games, it requires two cue balls and a red object ball. The object of the game is to score either a fixed number of points, or score the most points within a set time frame, determined at the start of the game.

Points are awarded for:

  • Two-ball Cannons: striking both the object ball and the other (opponent's) cue ball on the same shot (2 points)
  • Winning hazards: potting the red ball (3 points); potting the other cue ball (2 points)
  • Losing hazards (or "in-offs"): potting one's cue ball by cannoning off another ball (3 points if the red ball was hit first; 2 points if the other cue ball was hit first, or if the red and other cue ball were "split", i.e. hit simultaneously).
