Guest Dirk Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Hello, I have a Windows 2000 SP4 DC. I don't know why, but from time to time the CPU is near to 100% for lsass.exe. I found several articles for Windows 2000 SP1 or SP2. But what causes this high CPU usages of lsass in Windows 2000 SP4? Any ideas. Thanks in advance Dirk

Guest Coraleigh Miller Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Re: lsass.exe CPU >90% Hi Dirk, One of these articles may help you as they all refer to your lsass high cpu symptom. Unfortunately while they do refer to Windows 2000 Server they do not mention what SP level they apply to. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832539/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811172/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896179/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822554/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833320/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842382/en-us http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831982/en-us Hope this helps.
