If I added a D-Word in registry editor but then deleted, is that safe? Is won’t cause instability cause I didn’t have it before right?

I was trying to turn Hibernation Off in the registry editor. I went to the CurrentControlSet, then to Control, then to ‘Power’ and then added a D-Word of ‘HibernateEnabled.’ But then I realized that I already had that named ‘HibernateEnabledDefault’ so I deleted the D-Word of ‘HibernateEnabled’Is this bad?
