Guest Boe Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Hello, A client couldn't attach to the workgroup so I went on their xp workstation as an administrator and tried connecting via IP - it couldn't. It could ping the ip though. I right clicked on my computer, when to change the name of the workgroup (I've seen workstations pop out of a workgroup for whatever reason over the years). The workgroup area was grayed out. I went to services to check on the computer browser and it wasn't listed. I tried to manually run the computer browser but that didn't seem to help. I'm not sure how to fix this short of reformatting the PC. Thanks
