Cant log on. Missing domain? Home edition!?!

Hello. Im using Windows XP home edition and I can't seem to log in to

windows. My computer boots up fine and I am able to reach the blue log

in screen. When I log in, however, I am given this error message:

"The system can not log you on now because the domain "D3LSPT71" is

not available."

This seems rather strange. My computer was working just fine

yesterday, and I didn't change any settings. But what's stranger is, I

have never heard of this domain "d3lspt71". I'm not even on a network.

It's just a personal laptop. Besides that, I'm using Home Edition. I

thought that Home Edition couldn't access domains like that, because

Home Edition's networking features are limited.

I tried going into safe mode, and I get the same error message. I

tried using the last known good configuration, but that didn't change

anything either. I'm really confused now. Does anyone know what causes

this problem or how to fix it? I searched google and google groups for

similar problems but I didn't find much. Any Ideas?

Ok i found out some new information:

d3lspt71 may be the name of my computer. I saw it somewhere in the

bios too...

Also, I tried logging in as administrator - i still get the same

message.
