For several days now I've been trying to make the built in microphones of my laptop (HP Spectre X360 15") respond, without success, although I definitely know that I've been using them during January and February this year. The problem manifests itself by the mics appearing to be mute in ANY app that I attempted using, although all the permissions are correctly set, and I doublechecked all the other settings (including those in the Device Manager and Services list) several times. The bizzare thing is that, in the Settings/System/Sound adjustments for input devices, the mic test is performing c
