Microsoft 4K Wireless Adapter freezes when I open File Explorer

I have the Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter, and whatever screen I'm running it on freezes when I open File Explorer. If I don't close File Explorer quickly enough, the wireless adapter disconnects. In case the specs help diagnose my problem, I am running Windows 11 on an ASUS A15 laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H w/ Radeon Graphics and 32 GB RAM.
