Guest gremme Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Hi I got a problem with my computer. now and then, sometimes very often, when I'm playing world of warcraft a message pops up (looks like this but with different numbers from time to time: error#132 (0x85100084) fatal exception program: c:\program\world of warcraft\wow.exe exception: 0xc0000005 (access_violation) @ 001b:4d67375 the instruction at "0x4d657375" referenced memory at "0x4d657375". the memory could not be "read". then the game will shut down after I press ok. Does anyone know what might cause this? I'll be very grateful for any help. Below I've included system specs and an errorlog Here's a summary of my system specs from the directX diagnostics: OS: Microsoft windows XP professional(5.1, build 2600) Systemmanufacturer: NVIDIA Make sure you have all the patches for WoW. 2. Have nothing else running in the background when you play WoW - it is very resource-intensive. 3. Have you always gotten these errors when running WoW? If not, ask yourself The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't? 4. If everything else on your computer is working correctly and your only problem is with WoW, contact Blizzard tech support and/or post on one of the extremely active WoW user forums. Guest Matou Posted August 14, 2007 Posted August 14, 2007 Re: memory could not be "read" I have this problem too. The message is apears at the end of the loading, just after I chose my character. I uninstalled and installed the game with all the add-ons and setups, but it's still here !!! I researched on the web : they are speaking about problems with the RAM or with the graphic system. But everything is okay on my computer. The first time this message appeared was after a reboot of my computer, because of a bug in WOW. Please help me I'm paying my account but I can't play !!!
