Network and Hardware Conflict

When I run either ITunes or Printshop v20 my HP 2610 all-in-one printer goes

nuts. All the panel lights flash and it becomes unusable until I remove the

power cord and plug it back in. The same thing happens when I run the

software from my HP notebook and my desktop computer. The printer is

connected to both computers via a wired network. I have tried changing the

network address for the printer numerous times without result. Anyone have

any suggestions???? Thanks!
