Hi, I'm not getting sound when I'm using sites like you tube, picture is fine but no sound. When I visit real player homepage sound and picture are fine, also when i play music or dvd's work OK too. My pc is a dell inspiron 531 with vista home premium. I've updated drivers an also rolled back the audio drivers but still have the problem. There are no faults shown in device manager and I've run out of ideas, can anyone please help?

Hello and Welcome to FPCH Rich. :)

What video are you trying to view? Are you sure if it has sound embedded or not? It might be that the problem might just be the video and nothing else.

Fix No Flash Sound

Then, it might be that your existing installation of Adobe Flash Player might have gone wrong or corrupted. Please try to reinstall the player and see if it helps the problem or not.

If you are still encountering the problem, then please download the following archive and extract the file within it. Browse to the file and double-click on it. A prompt will pop-up saying if you want to import the value into the registry. Answer Yes to it and click OK on the subsequent prompt. Reboot the computer.

See, if any of the above methods fix the problem or not. Good Luck. :)
