hello,why when i leave my pc idle i find this screen?

Sounds like you need to go into Control Panel and change your Power Options dorsil.

Hello Dorsil. I think Windows is automatically logging off after some period of inactivity on your computer. To resolve it, follow the instructions in the following article and see if it helps or not.

 

How To Force Users to Quit Programs and Log Off After a Period of Inactivity in Windows XP

 

The article gives the instructions to enable the setting so you need to change some of the instructions. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck. :)

• Click on the Advanced tab
  
• Then set System Standby to like 5 Hours or Off
  

 

Then click on the Hibernation tab and set it to Off

all settings are as you told me and still the same

I had a similar thing occur some moons ago.....what had happened in my case was that I had left programmes running in the background when going to standby or just allowing PC to time out!!

By using control/alt/delete and bring up Windows task Manager ,choosingApplication Tab I was able to close down background programmes and problem disappeared??

Dont know if it will help,but might be worth a try....

There are more than 1 PC Power option setting you must change all of them to what Maynard said - or make 100% sure the one you are using is the one you have changed.
