Guest Max Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 RE: not genuine Windows John, I don't know either. I had to re-install my original Vista Ultimate software and, although everything was fine before, I now have a message in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, "This Copy of Windows is not genuine". This is in spite of the fact that I was able to validate normally. I have an original commercially purchased copy of Vista (from military exchange) I don't understand this erroneous message.
